How to Air fryer Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

These cheese sticks are created in an air fryer, fried in panko breadcrumbs and cornflakes, and served with a creamy homemade avocado dipping sauce.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tbsp plain flour
  2. 3 tsp garlic powder
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  5. 1/4 cup cornflake crumbs
  6. 550g block mozzarella
  7. Olive oil spray

Creamy avocado dipping sauce

  1. 1 avocado, roughly chopped
  2. 1/3 cup lemon juice
  3. 1/4 cup plain Greek-style yoghurt
  4. 2 tbsp basil pesto
  5. 1 green onion, roughly chopped

Instructions:

Step:No:01

In a small food processor, combine the avocado, juice, yoghurt, pesto, and onion to make the Creamy Avocado Dipping Sauce. Use plenty of salt and pepper to season. Blend and mix until smooth. Move to a bowl. Shut up. Store in the refrigerator until needed.

Step:No:02

Put baking paper on a big tray. In a shallow basin, combine the flour and garlic powder. Add some salt for seasoning. In a separate shallow bowl, whisk the eggs. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs.

Step:No:03

Cut mozzarella into sticks after slicing it into 2 cm thick pieces. To coat, dunk cheese in flour. Get rid of extra. Coat sticks in egg mixture and then breadcrumbs, working in batches. Transfer to the ready tray. Freeze until solid, about 1 hour.

Step:No:04

Lightly mist mozzarella sticks with oil. To allow air to circulate, line the air fryer basket with baking paper, leaving a 1-inch border. Cook the sticks in batches at 180°C for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes, or until they are crispy and brown. Accompany right away with dipping sauce.
