Easy Baked Chicken Breasts Recipes

 Goodbye, dry chicken breasts. You can rely on delectable oven-baked chicken breasts every time.

Ingredients:

  1. 4 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 pounds total)
  2. 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  3. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  4. 1 tablespoon olive oil

Step:No:01

As you preheat the oven, dry brine the chicken:
Place the chicken breasts onto a chopping board or platter. Using your fingertips, gather about half of the salt, hold your hand at least a foot over the cutting board, and then evenly distribute the salt over the chicken. Turn them over and continue until all sides are nicely seasoned.

Preheat the oven to 425°F and set a timer for 15 minutes.

Step:No:02

To prepare the chicken, blot the tops of the chicken breasts dry with a clean paper towel once the timer goes off. Place the chicken breasts, with their dry side facing down, in a single layer in a rimmed baking sheet or casserole dish. Pat the now-upside dry.

Add a dash of olive oil and season with black pepper.

 Bake, rest, and serve: Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 425°F, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest portion of each breast registers at least 155°F.


Take the chicken out of the oven and allow it to rest for ten minutes or more. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F before serving.
