Easy Spiced sweet potato wedges Recipes

 Combine sweet potatoes with cumin, chili, and sumac; bake in the oven with lemon and garlic to create crispy yet fluffy chunky chips.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tsp ground cumin
  2. 2 tsp chilli flakes
  3. 2 tsp sumac
  4. 2 tbsp thyme leaves, roughly chopped
  5. 2 tbsp rosemary leaves, roughly chopped
  6. 3 garlic cloves
  7. zest and juice 1 lemon
  8. 3 tbsp olive oil
  9. 1¼kg sweet potatoes, cut into wedges


Instructions: 

Step:No:01

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C for fans) and gas 6. Crush the seasoning, herbs, garlic, and spices with a pestle and mortar.

Step:No:02

Transfer into a spacious basin and blend in the oil, lemon zest, and juice. Toss in the potatoes after adding them. Place on two baking trays skin-side down, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the inside is tender and the outside is crunchy.
