Healthy Baked Chicken Breasts Recipes

 This is the only roasted chicken breast recipe you will ever require! This is how you season, brine, and bake boneless, juicy chicken breasts in the oven.

Ingredients:

  1. 4 cups warm water
  2. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  3. 1/4 cup kosher salt
  4. 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (see note)
  5. 2 teaspoons olive oil
  6. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  7. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  9. Optional seasoning ideas: 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, oregano, cumin, rosemary, Italian seasoning blend, etc.


Instructions:

Step:No:01

Mix the water, salt, and sugar in a medium-sized bowl until the salt and sugar are completely dissolved.

Step:No:02

After placing it in the bowl, immerse the chicken in the brining liquid. Let the chicken sit at room temperature for fifteen minutes, soaking in the liquid (see notes).

Step:No:03

Set oven temperature to 450°F.

Step:No:04

Take the chicken out of the liquid and pat it dry completely before baking it. Use an olive oil mister (I prefer to use mine) to evenly coat them, then season with paprika, thyme, pepper, and garlic powder.

Step:No:05

Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 13–17 minutes, or until an oven thermometer registers 160°–165°F (see to the note), depending on the thickness of the chicken.
