Best Fried Rice Recipe

For many years, fried rice has been a mainstay of Australian takeout meals. Furthermore, although everyone has a go-to Chinese restaurant that serves delicious fried rice, making fulfilling fried rice at home is surprisingly simple. It's also a terrific way to finish off any leftover freshly cooked rice from the previous evening.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup Coles Long Grain White Rice
  2. 2 tsp vegetable oil
  3. 2 eggs, lightly whisked
  4. 2 bacon rashers, chopped
  5. 1 carrot, peeled and grated
  6. 2 shallots, trimmed, finely sliced
  7. 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  8. 1 tbsp soy sauce
  9. Sesame seeds, to serve
  10. Shallots, sliced, extra, to serve

Instructions:

Step:No:01

In a large pot filled with boiling water, cook the rice for 12 minutes, or until it's soft. After draining, let cool.

Step:No:02

In a large frying pan or nonstick wok, heat the oil over medium heat. Put eggs in. To create an omelette, swirl over the foundation. Cook until set, about 2 minutes. Move to a cutting surface. Allow it to cool down a little. Roll and cut thickly.

Step:No:03

To the wok, add the bacon. Cook for four minutes, or until pale gold. Add the carrot. Stir-fry for one minute. Add rice, peas, and shallots. Stir and cook for 3–4 minutes. Add soy sauce and the egg. Stir until well heated. Add additional shallots on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve right away.
